COMMUNICATING

The secret of an efficient safety policy is to make sure it is discussed, everywhere, all the time. In the morning over coffee, in the workplace, on a bulletin board, on television, etc.

At V2V, we have decided to build a strong communication policy on the subject: not a day goes by without mentioning safety!

Awareness-raising campaign for manager

Managers are the first ambassadors for safety at V2V. They must display exemplary behavior and encourage their teams to be proactive when it comes to safety.

Awareness-raising campaigns are regularly deployed.

The latest one was a box comprising a leaflet recapping the 10 safety commandments for V2V managers as well as a penal code and handcuffs to remind them that they will be held responsible in the event of a serious accident.

Advertising campaigns

Owing to recurrent advertising campaigns, V2V employees have assimilated the good safety behaviors they must adopt: wearing PPE, fastening safety belts when driving ride-on machinery, displaying exemplary behavior as managers, respecting speed limits, etc. The aim of V2V campaigns is no longer to inform, but to surprise and make sure everyone is talking about safety!

Annual campaigns are rolled out on different support media that employees see or can make use of in their daily lives: posters in the agencies, stickers, key rings, computer desktop wallpapers and professional cell phones.

Safety minutes

Every quarter, V2V employees receive a newsletter that recaps the major current events in safety: sharing of best practices, seasonal safety information, etc. This information can also be found on the blog under the Safety talks and Safety minutes heading, and is displayed on the television screens in the agencies.

V2V Blog

The blog in an online portal dedicated to V2V employees. It can be accessed from any workstation and enables V2V employees to:

- Find all the elements they need to safely complete their tasks (DU, material safety data sheets, safety talk sheets, and so on).

- Have access to recurrent articles on safety measures to be respected according to current events.

Social Media

To raise awareness among our clients and potential clients, we have created a precise editorial calendar on social media to regularly pass on safety advice or best practices.

This enables us to share our initiatives and those of our partners, and to react to practices of other lines of business that we could possibly adopt.

We are highly active on Facebook and LinkedIn as these are the two social media sites most used by our targets.
